‘Normal People’

‘Normal People’ — ‘Normal People’ is a new television series that will debut on Hulu on April 29. The show is based on Sally Rooney’s bestselling novel of the same name. ‘Normal People’ follows the complicated relationship of Marianne and Connell from the end of their school days in a small town in the west of Ireland to their undergraduate years at Trinity College. When their relationship begins, Connell and Marianne are determined to keep it a secret initially. However, when Connell breaks Marianne’s heart by refusing to acknowledge their relationship publicly, their relationship comes to an end. A year later, they’re both studying in Dublin, and Marianne has found her feet in a new social world but Connell hangs at the sidelines, shy and uncertain.
