Nicole was famously once married to actor Tom Cruise. The couple started dating after meeting on the set of a film, in 1989, and quickly got married in 1990. During their marriage, they adopted two children: daughter Isabella Cruise and son Connor Cruise. Shortly after the adoption, Tom and Nicole got divorced, in 2001. Following the divorce, and as Isbella and Connor became more involved in the Church of Scientology, they cut off their relationship with their mother. As adults, they’re all slowly mending the rift.
