                                                                                                          Pro athletes are all about balancing love and the game. Some power couples have been slaying it for ages, while others are just starting out. But, let’s be real, not all pairings were meant to last.

Travis denied cheating on Kayla when they briefly split in 2020. After they broke up for good, Travis started dating Taylor Swift. Kayla didn’t directly address Travis’ new relationship, but she did pen an open letter for Black women.

                                                                                                          Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were once one of the world’s top power couples, but some love just isn’t meant to last. The relationship ended in 2022 after 14 years of marriage, but they had quite the love story before that.

                                                                                                          Tom and Gisele got together in December 2006 after a mutual friend set them up on a blind date. They got married in February 2009 and went on to have a son in December 2009, followed by a daughter in December 2012.

                                                                                                          While things appeared to be a fairytale romance, the relationship began to fracture in 2022 after Tom returned to football following a brief flirtation with retirement. Instead of hanging up his jersey, he decided to ditch his wedding ring. The couple finalized their divorce in Oct. 2022.

                                                                                                          Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews are high school sweethearts, so we can’t help but stan! The NFL star and his longtime love started dating when they were just teenagers, so their love story really makes our hearts melt. Despite attending different colleges, they stayed together, and, in 2019, they purchased their first home together in Kansas City, where Patrick plays as a quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs.

                                                                                                          Brittany was by Patrick’s side to celebrate his 2020 Super Bowl victory, and in Sept. 2020, when he received his championship ring, he proposed to her. The couple married each other in a beautiful ceremony in Hawaii in 2022.

                                                                                                          In between popping the question and walking down the aisle, Patrick and Brittany revealed they were expecting a little girl. Daughter Sterling was born Feb. 20, 2021, and her little brother Patrick ‘Bronze’ Mahomes followed in Jan. 2023. So cute!
