Nautica Malibu Triathlon And Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Benefit Dinner — Posing in white frayed skinny jeans cut above her ankle, a white t-shirt and a dark green trench coat Brooke Burke was the definition of effortless beach chic when she co-hosted a dinner in Malibu for the Nautica Malibu Triathlon and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles at the Nautica House on April 29, 2019 in Malibu, California. Brooke has been a longtime supporter of the annual triathlon and it’s fundraising efforts for the Children’s Hospital. Brooke has faced her own health battles in the past. In 2012, at the height of her busy TV hosting career and with four kids at home Brooke was diagnosed with thyroid cancer during her annual physical. She took time off her hosting duties at Dancing With The Starts to have immediate surgery. She has to have a thyroidectomy, a procedure to remove part or all of the thyroid gland. Since then Brooke has been thriving.
