Morgan Freeman: PhotOs of the Iconic Actor Through The Years — Morgan Freeman is a legendary actor known for his signature voice and his powerful performances in iconic films like ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ and ‘The Shawshank Redemption’. His work has spanned over 5 decades in Hollywood and he is regularly sought after to narrate films and documentaries.

Over the years, his work has been celebrated by his peers with multiple nominations for Oscars, Golden Globes, and SAG Awards, which he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award for in 2018. He also won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor on ‘Million Dollar Baby’, and the Golden Globe for Best Actor with ‘Driving Miss Daisy’.

Though revered by many, Morgan was also called out with sexual harassment allegations in May 2018 by several employees of CNN. The cable news network reported the results of an investigation during which eight women accused Freeman of sexually harassing them. After the story broke, Freeman issued an apology, stating “Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected—that was never my intent.”
