Michelle Carter’s Mug Shot — Michelle Carter is a Massachusetts woman who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in June 2017 for the 2014 death of her boyfriend, Conrad Roy. The court found Michelle guilty of Conrad’s death when she encouraged the then 18-year-old, her long distance boyfriend, to commit suicide over a series of texts. Conrad, deeply depressed, told Michelle that he was contemplating suicide, but having second thoughts. She repeatedly told him to “just do it,” and even convinced him to get back into his car as it was filling with carbon monoxide. His body was found in his car in the parking lot of a Kmart, near Boston.
