Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender — You all probably already know who Michael Fassbender is.

You may not be as familiar with Alicia Vikander, though. To say the least, she is quite the star in Sweden! She was born and raised in Gothenburg (the second-largest city in Sweden) and began acting as a child in minor stage productions at the Gothenburg opera house. She began her professional acting career when she started appearing in Swedish short films and TV series, such as ‘Andra Avenyn’ (2008–2010) and ‘Pure’ (2010).

Besides being an actress she is also the wife of Michael Fassbender. They made their first public appearance as a couple when they attended the 2016 Golden Globe Awards ceremony (where Vikander was nominated for awards regarding her roles in ‘The Danish Girl’ and ‘Ex Machina’), although they had actually been dating since 2014.

The two lovebirds currently reside in North London and are happily married.
