Michael Bolton — A pop rock powerhouse and iconic voice, Michael Bolton filled the smooth rock radio stations of the 80s and 90s, charming millions with his music. However, before he became known for such a dramatic vocal style, he was a lead singer for a hard rock band called Blackjack. Yet, when rock and roll glory didn’t come to young Michael, he continued on. By his late twenties, he was married and had three kids – a trio of daughters, all born about two years around from each other – and it wouldn’t be until the late 1980s that he would have success with his album, ‘The Hunger.’ That contained his cover of “(Sittin’ On) The Dock Of The Bay,” and signaled a shift more to pop rock than hard rock. His follow-up albums brought more success, establishing his as one of the most powerful voices of the moment. His version of “When A Man Loves A Woman” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1990 and since then, the world has been in love with Michael Bolton.
