Melanie is relatively new to acting but she’s already made a big name for herself on the award winning TV show ‘This Is Us’. She plays Zoe Baker—Beth’s cousin and Kevin’s paramour—on the beloved drama. She’s garnered plenty of praise for her breakout role. And her role in ‘Brian Banks’ is just as hard hitting. The movie chronicles the inspirational true story of Brian Banks, an all-American high school football star who is wrongly convicted of a crime he didn’t commit. Despite the lack of evidence he gets railroaded through a broken justice system and sentenced to a decade of prison and probation. Years later, with the support of the California Innocence Project, Brian reclaims his life and fulfill his dreams of playing in the NFL.
