Pop singer Mel B was born on May 29, 1975 in Harehills, West Yorkshire, England. She is best known for being a member of the Spice Girls, and to fans, she’s known as Scary Spice. She has also had a solo career, and dropped a dazzling track, “I Want You Back” with rapper Missy Elliott in 1998. Mel B has since released two records, 2000’s Hot and 2005’s L.A. State of Mind. Her autobiography ‘Catch a Fire’ was released in 2002. She has also judged on ‘The X Factor’ and ‘America’s Got Talent,’ and held roles in movies such as ‘Telling Lies,’ ‘The Pro,’ and of course, ‘Spice World.’
