Maury is best known as a talk show host. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he started out in Radio Broadcasting the Washington D.C. area until he moved over to television in the 1960s. After working in various productions, he started ‘The Maury Povich Show’ in 1991 and it lasted until 1998 before he launched ‘Maury,’ which focused more on paternity tests.

Maury married journalist Connie Chung in 1984 and they share an adopted son together. He also has two daughters from a previous marriage.

In addition to serving as host of his talk show, he’s collaborated with Lil Nas X, who filmed a fake episode of his show and acted as a guest in a love triangle.
