Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were once one of Hollywood’s most powerful couples. They first met on the set of her music video for “Bye Bye” on an island off the coast of Antigua. This began their relationship that eventually turned into them walking down the aisle together as they got married on April 30, 2008 in the Bahamas. It was his first marriage, her second (she was previously married to music executive Tommy Mottola).

They became parents a couple of years later when she gave birth to fraternal twins Moroccan and Monroe on April 30, 2011, via C-section. Their love didn’t last, however, as Nick later confirmed that he and Mariah separated in August 2014. He then filed for divorce from her on December 12, 2014, which became finalized two years later.
