Luke Bryan met Caroline Boyer when he was a senior at Georgia Southern University and she was a freshman in the late ’90s. They dated on and off or a year and a half before eventually breaking up. At the time of the split, Luke and Caroline were at different places in their lives, and the age difference took a toll on where their relationship stood.

For the next five and a half years, Luke and Caroline kept in touch sporadically, and she would come to his shows when he performed back in his college town. Finally, they both found themselves single, and they got back together after she invited him to her family’s Christmas party. They tied the knot in December 2006, and went on to have two sons, Bo and Tate. They also adopted Luke’s nephew, Til, in 2014, after he lost both of his parents.
