“You never know what I’m gonna come with,” Luh Kel tells HollywoodLife during his visit. The teenage R&B singer blew up in 2019 with his massive single, ‘Wrong.’ Having gone Gold and racked up millions of streams/views before he was old enough to vote, Luh Kel quickly established himself a star-to-watch. The young star found success in the conventional streaming platforms such as YouTube and Spotify, but his major success can be credited to Tik Tok, where ‘Wrong’ was used in millions of videos. The platform named him one of the top Tik Tok artists of that year, alongside such names as Lil Nas X, Lizzo, and Billie Eilish.
He released ‘Mixed Emotions’ in 2019 and looked to continue the sex with the release of ‘Y.O.U.’ But, despite his breakout year, Luh Kel isn’t stopping until everyone in his circle is a success. “If you’ve got five brothers, and every single one of those five brothers is eating and they all got houses, that’s success,” he says during an EXCLUSIVE interview with HollywoodLife. “Until that come, I ain’t successful. I ain’t even close.”
