Lil Nas X — Lil Nas X AKA Montero Lamar Hill was born on April 9, 1999. The American rapper, singer, and songwriter originally hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Lil Nas X is best known for his country rap breakout single ‘Old Town Road,’ which achieved viral popularity as part of the “Yeehaw Challenge” on the video sharing app TikTok. However the track stirred up some major controversy after it was pulled from the Hot Country music charts because it just wasn’t quite country enough. The star paved a lane of his own however, and has since solidified his spot as a music superstar. On June 21, he released his debut EP, 7, which featured a collaboration with A-list rapper Cardi B. The mini-album also featured Billy Ray Cyrus on the ‘Old Town Road’ remix. Clearly, the singer/rapper isn’t slowing down anytime soon!
