From meat dresses to drag, to arriving up at the Grammys in a human-sized egg, there’s no line she won’t cross. However, the ‘Chromatica’ singer’s style has also evolved from awards season to awards season, often reflecting her creative project at the time. Gaga went glam in late 2018 while she was on the awards circuit for ‘A Star Is Born’, evoking the Old Hollywood attitude of stars who played the role before.

That awards season, she opted for giant ball gowns and custom dresses that still showed off her eccentric personality, but in a way that was palatable to a wider audience. (After all, she was now attending shows like the Golden Globes and the Oscars – not just the Grammys, which sees wilder fashion choices than most events.)
