Kobe & Vanessa Bryant: Photos — Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa Bryant were a true fairytale romance. The basketball player and model met on the set of a 1999 music video and were married in April 2001. They welcomed their eldest daughter Natalia in 2003 and three more girls followed. Tragically, Kobe died in a 2020 helicopter crash along with daughter Gianna Bryant. Vanessa has continued to honor their memory with the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation, which promotes youth sports.

She spoke about his memory during a May 2021 speech. “There will never be anyone like Kobe. Kobe was one-of-a-kind,” Vanessa shared. “He was special. He was humble. Off the court. But bigger than life.”

Through their relationship, Kobe and Vanessa enjoyed many cute public appearances. Here, Kobe wraps his arm around Vanessa during the 3rd annual Runway For Life benefitting St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital on May 1, 2005. She was chic in a navy dress that matched his pinstriped suit and baby blue tie.
