Kim Scott & Eminem — Anyone who has ever listened to an Eminem album has heard the name “Kim” thrown around – often in a very graphic, and derogatory way. For better or for worse, Kim Scott has been Eminem’s muse for most of his career. After meeting Eminem (b. Marshall Mathers) at a party when they were both teenagers in Michigan, the two began a romance that ultimately led to them tying the knot in 1999, four years after they welcomed a daughter, Hailie Jade. The romance didn’t last long after that. Em filed for divorce ten months after they got married and they completed the split in 2001. The couple remarried in 2006, but divorced four months after tying the knot for a second time.

Throughout Em’s career, he has berated Kim in his lyrics. In “’97 Bonnie & Clyde,” from his ‘Slim Shady LP,’ Eminem rapped about disposing her dead body in the ocean. In “Kim,” from the ‘Marshal Mathers LP,’ Em depicts killing Kim. He continued to rap about her before apologizing in 2017 with “Bad Husband,” off of his ‘Revival’ album.

Mathers was accused of possession of up to 25 grams of cocaine, driving with a suspended license, and unsafe driving near a stopped emergency vehicle.
