The duo’s romance all began after Kim hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live after the pair shared a kiss during a sketch in Oct. 2021. Following the SNL weekend, whisperings about a possible romance began to surface as Kim and Pete were spotted holding hands at Knott’s Berry Farm in California. They were subsequently photographed on numerous outings, causing many to wonder if they were truly ‘just friends.’

After rumors of their romance began to heat up, a source revealed details of their pairing to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY in Nov. 2021. ‘Kim really needs laughter in her life right now and has incredibly strong feelings for Pete,’ the source said. Pete fit in with Kim and her kids instantly, but the love would face drama when her ex-husband Kanye West began to bully Pete publicly. Though they tried to make the relationship work, the stress from her ex, and being long-distance, was too much for the pair. Pete and Kim broke up in August 2022.
