She started her career in fashion as a personal shopper, later becoming the face of the brand Lady Crooks, and appearing in the Love West Coast Girls photography book. She graced the cover of magazines like Rolling Out, Flaunt Magazine, and Bleu Magazine. Her first big role was in the web series The Bay. After several small film and TV roles, she became one of the main characters on Claws. Karrueche is also known for dating Chris Brown in 2010. After breaking up, they briefly got back together in 2015.

Here, Karrueche is seen slaying on the red carpet of the LACMA: Art and Film Gala, held in November 2018.
