Julia Louis-Dreyfus, born January 13, 1961, is an American actress whose work has been celebrated and honored for decades. Julia got her start when she was in her early 20s working as a cast member on Saturday Night Live. After leaving the show in the mid-’80s, Julia earned one of her most well-known roles as Elaine Benes on Seinfeld, for which she won an Emmy Award.
From there, Julia continued to act on the small screen, appearing in shoes like The New Adventures of Old Christine, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development and more. In 2012, she earned the role of Selina Meyer on the HBO comedy Veep, for which she won a number of Emmy Awards.
