Joshua Bassett is one of Disney’s hottest up-and-coming stars. The 20-year-old actor currently stars as Ricky Bowen in the hit Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Beyond that, Josh has made headlines for his supposed love-triangle with co-star Olivia Rodrigo and fellow Disney darling Sabrina Carpenter. 

In May 2020, Josh fueled speculation about his sexuality when he referred to Harry Styles as “hot”, before adding, “this is also my coming out video.” The following month, Josh proudly confirmed that he’s part of the LGBTQ+ community. “Even if there are consequences, I would much rather deal with consequences and live my truth than live in fear,” he told GQ.
