Josh Charles is an American actor who is best known for playing the roles of Dan Rydell on ‘Sports Night,’ Will Gardner on ‘The Good Wife,’ and Knox Overstreet in ‘Dead Poets Society.’
The two former roles actually secured him two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Dan Rydell was a Dartmouth student residing in Connecticut with his Jewish family, consisting of his parents, older brother David, unnamed sister, and younger brother Sam, whose death (due to a car accident) he blames himself for.
On the other hand, Will Gardner is an attorney who co-manages a law firm with his partner Diane Lockhart. Will also happens to be quite the ladies’ man who has many love affairs throughout the series’ seven seasons.
