Jorja Smith is a British singer and songwriter from Walsall, West Midlands.
To date, she has collaborated with big-time artists, such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Kali Uchis, and Stormzy. (And at one point, she was even rumored to be romantically involved with Champagne Papi himself.)
She has also worked with Bruno Mars, and performed as the opening act on his 24K Magic World Tour in October and November 2017.
One year later, she dropped her debut studio album, entitled Lost & Found.
The album proved to be rather successful, as it peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart; she won the Brit Critics’ Choice Award; and was named Best British Female Artist at the 2019 Brit Awards. And if that is not already impressive, she was also nominated for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist!
