Jason Bateman & Amanda Anka: Photos Of The Star & His Wife — Jason Bateman has been married to his wife Amanda Anka since 2001. The couple originally met at a hockey game in the late ’80s and while there was chemistry they didn’t start dating until 10 years later. After they got married in 2001, Amanda convinced Jason to seek help for his alcohol and drug addiction. Jason and Amanda are proud parents to two daughters, Francesca, born in 2006, and Maple, born in 2012. Amanda is also an actress and currently works as a producer on ‘The Morning Show’ on Apple TV+.

I wanted to marry somebody who wasn’t someone I had to be in any particular mood to want to be around – with close friends, you can be with them no matter what mood you’re in. just waited until I found a girl that really was that in my life. Amanda is and that’s why it feels so effortless.”
