ITZY — made up of members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna — made an immediate impact in the K-Pop scene with their debut album, It’z Different, in Feb. 2019! The album’s lead single, “Dalla Dalla,” was such a success, it peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s “World Digital Song sales” chart.
ITZY gained even more recognition with their first EP, IT’z ICY, which debuted at No. 11 on Billboard’s “World Albums” chart, followed by their sophomore EP, IT’z ME, which climbed up even higher on that chart with a No. 5 position.
ITZY’s impressive chart stats reflect their popularity with their fanbase, whom they refer to as MIDZY! Each of the South Korean group’s biggest music videos — “WANNABE,” “ICY” AND “DALLA DALLA” — have more than 150 million views each, and those numbers only continue to rise each day. In fact, “DALLA DALLA” had already hit 200 million views by June of 2020! The five talented performers’ latest project is their new EP Not Shy, which dropped in Aug. 2020.
