Holt McCallany is an American actor and currently starring on the Netflix series ‘Mindhunter.’ The second season of the critically-acclaimed show dropped on Aug. 16. He plays Bill Tench, an FBI agent researching serial killers in the 1970s, alongside Jonathan Groff’s Holden Ford. The series is executive produced by David Fincher and Charlize Theron. The show is based on the true-crime book ‘Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit,’ which was written by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker. The first season was named one of the best new shows of 2017 when it premiered. Holt has worked with Fincher on a number of projects over the years. He first collaborated with Fincher in the 1992 movie ‘Alien 3,’ which Fincher directed. Holt also starred as The Mechanic in Fincher’s 1999 film ‘Fight Club’ with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.
