Haylie Duff is an American actress, singer, songwriter, television host, writer, and fashion designer, as well as the founder of the cooking blog Real Girl’s Kitchen. Haylie is also the sister of actress Hilary Duff. Haylie started her acting career making guest appearances on made-for-television films such as True Women and on TV series such as The Amanda Show. She went on to nab her first role in a feature film when she was cast as Summer Wheatley in Napoleon Dynamite, and won a Teen Choice Award for her performance. Haylie then joined the cast of 7th Heaven in 2005, playing Sandy Jameson, best friend to Simon’s girlfriend Rose. With her sister Hilary, Haylie starred in the movie Material Girls, which was loosely based on Jane Austen’s 1811 novel Sense and Sensibility. She also took her talents to the Broadway stage, starring as Amber Von Tussle in the Broadway show Hairspray in June 2006, and she left the show in October 2006. Haylie went on to develop her own cooking show in 2014 for The Cooking Channel, based on her food blog, Real Girl’s Kitchen. In 2017 Haylie started her own children’s fashion line called Little Moon Society.
