Kelsea Ballerini and Halsey are two of the biggest singers in the music industry, and they were also real-life BFFs at one point! The gals met when Kelsea attended one of Halsey’s Nashville shows in 2018. Afterward, they hit the town for a fun night of singing karaoke, and the rest is history. That fall, both singers performed during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and they’ve hung out at a number of award shows over the years. Kelsea and Halsey also teamed up for a song called ‘The Other Girl,’ which was released as part of Kelsea’s March 2020 album, ‘Kelsea.’ They took their friendship to the stage for an epic ‘CMT Crossroads’ episode, which they filmed at the end of 2019, as well. During the special, the ladies duetted on each other’s biggest songs, including Halsey’s hits ‘Graveyard’ and ‘Without Me,’ and Kelsea’s tracks, ‘Peter Pan,’ and ‘Homecoming Queen,’ among others.
However, in 2022, Kelsea dropped a new song that revealed she and Halsey no longer spoke. She even said that she would’ve never featured her on “The Other Girl” if she knew they’d have a falling out.
