‘Gossip Girl’ Stars Then & Now: Pics — ‘Gossip Girl’ premiered in September 2007 and totally rocked the world with its fashion, drama, and glimpse into the lives of privileged teens living on the Upper East Side of New York City. The show became a launching pad for a number of its stars, who each found success following the show’s end in 2012. Stars like Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley have gone on to be mainstays on the small screen. Leighton currently stars on ‘Single Parents’ while Penn leads the cast of ‘You.’ They’ve also gone on to marry and excitedly welcome children into their lives, leaving their characters Blair and Dan behind. Blake Lively skyrocketed to fame with her role as Serena, and has since become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading ladies.
