The final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ premieres April 14 on HBO. After a nearly 2-year wait, the show has returned. The final season will be only 6 episodes, but over half will be over 60 minutes long. ‘Game of Thrones’ will be wrapping things up in the most epic way possible. Season 7 ended with the discovery that Jon Snow is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. He is actually the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Jon Snow and Daenerys finally gave into their feelings in the final episode, having no idea they’re actually related. The Night King and his undead army are also on the way south. Jon Snow, Daenerys, Tyrion and more are preparing for an epic battle against the Night King. Jon Snow and Daenerys will arrive back at Winterfell in the season 8 premiere. See more photos from ‘Game of Thrones’ season 8.
