Frank Gifford, born August 16, 1930, was an American football player and sports commentator. Frank played football at the University of Southern California before heading to the NFL. He played for the New York Giants for 12 years before becoming a commentator on ABC’s ‘Monday Night Football.’
Frank was married three times. His first marriage was to his high school sweetheart, Maxine Avis Etwart, with whom he had three children. The couple divorced and Frank married fitness instructor Astrid Lindsey from 1978-1986. Finally, Frank married TV presenter Kathie Lee Gifford, who was 23 years his junior. They had two children — a son and a daughter.
