Rapper Eve arrives at the 46th annual Daytime Emmy Awards at the Pasadena Civic Center on May 5, 2019. She stunned in a ceylon blue high-low gown.
Eve was born Eve Jihan Jeffers on November 10, 1978 in Philadelphia, PA. After stripping in her late teens, rapper Mase convinced her to go into music — prompting her first appearance on the ‘Bulworth’ soundtrack. She then released her first album ‘Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady in 1999. She followed up the project with sophomore album ‘Scorpion,’ which included the track ‘Who’s That Girl?’ — arguably the hit single that put her on the map. She then collaborated with Gwen Stefani on ‘Let Me Blow Ya Mind,’ cementing her A-List status.
In her personal life, Eve wed entrepreneur Maximillian Cooper in 2014 after four years of dating. The marriage made her step mom to his four kids, Lotus, 19, Jagger, 18, Cash, 15, and Mini, 13, with ex-wife Julie Brangstrup. She announced that she and Maximillian were expecting their first child in 2021, confirming the baby will be due in Feb. 2022.
Beyond music, Eve has also made a name for herself in television as co-host of ‘The Talk.’ She worked on the show for three seasons, announcing her exit in 20202. She’s since turned her attention to acting with the series ‘Queens’. Click to see photos of Eve here!
