Eugene Lee Yang attends the House 99 Launch in West Hollywood on Aug. 20, 2018. He grew up in Pfuegerville, Texas as the only son of Korean immigrants along with two sisters. He made a name for himselg as a video producer when her went to work for Buzzdfeed in 2013. He created such viral videos as ‘If Disney Princes Were Real’ which got over 75 million views as well as ‘Women’s Ideal Body Types Throughout History’ which has 47 million views. A year later he formed The Try Guys along with Ned Fulmer, Keith Habersberger, and Zach Kornfeld. Their online show features them attempting such challenges as baking a pie without a recipe and eating every item on the menu at Taco Bell. On June 15, 2019, Eugene came out as gay in a powerful music video. He wrote “”I created this music video as my personal way of coming out as a proud gay man who has many unheard, specific stories to tell. I withheld because of fear and shame shaped by my background but I promise to give my full truth in the rest of my life’s work.”
