The couple met while students at the University of Tennesse, where Eli was the quarterback for the school’s team. The college sweethearts married in 2008 in a ceremony in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. They went on to have three daughters — Ava, Lucy and Caroline and added their first son Charles “Charlie” in 2019.

Eli played 16 seasons for the New York Giants as their quarterback. He became the face of the team. Eli led the Giants to two epic Super Bowl Wins in 2008 and 2011, both against their nemesis the New England Patriots. In both games, Eli was named the MVP. He hold nearly every Giants passing record. On Jan. 22, 2020 it was reported that Eli was retiring from the NFL, spending his entire career with the Giants. During the 2019 season he was benched after the first two games and the starting job was given to rookie Daniel Jones. He would start in two games in Dec. of 2019, but knew his days as the team’s starter were likely behind him. He formally announced his retirement on Jan. 24.
