‘Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.’ Cast — Photos — ‘Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.’ is a brand-new Disney+ series that premieres on September 8. Set in modern-day Hawaii, the show follows Lahela ‘Doogie’ Kamealoha, a 16-year-old prodigy juggling a budding medical career and life as a teenager. With the support of her caring and comical ‘ohana (family) and friends, Lahela is determined to make the most of her teenage years and forge her own path. Lahela must work alongside Dr. Clara Hannon, who also happens to be her mother. The show stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Lahela ‘Doogie’ Kamealoha, Kathleen Rose Perkins as Dr. Clara Hannon, Jason Scott Lee as Benny Kamealoha, Mapuana Makia as Noelani Nakayama, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman as Charles Zeller, Matthew Sato as Kai Kamealoha, Wes Tian as Brian Patrick Kamealoha, Emma Meisel as Steph Denisco, Ronny Chieng as Dr. Lee, and Alex Aiono as Walter Taumata. The Disney+ series is inspired by ‘Doogie Howser, M.D.’ which starred Neil Patrick Harris.
