David Schwimmer, born November 2, 1966, is an American actor who got his big break on the sitcom ‘Friends.’ David originated the role of Ross Geller, and played the character for 10 seasons between 1994-2004 – more than 200 episodes! The role skyrocketed David to fame, along with co-stars Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow.
The actor has remained so close with his ‘Friends’ co-stars since their last trip to Central Perk in 2004. All of these years later, David has amassed a very eclectic career in both film and TV. He appeared in lauded drama miniseries like ‘Band of Brothers,’ provided the voice of Melman the giraffe in the ‘Madagascar’ films, and in 2016, he earned an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Robert Kardashian in the series ‘American Crime Story.’
