Dave Grohl — Dave Grohl, born January 14, 1969, is an American rocker and founding member of the Foo Fighters. Dave began his rock and roll career after leaving high school in the 11th grade. Dave was first a member of the band Scream before joining Nirvana in 1990 with Kurt Cobain. Dave was the drummer for the band, where they were nominated for a number of Grammy Awards from the Recording Academy.

He then founded the group Foo Fighters in 1994, and has since won 15 Grammy Awards. Dave is also an immense advocate, being an ally to teachers as his mom, Virginia Grohl, was an educator herself.
