Dave Grohl has worn many hats in his life. He’s been a hardcore punk drummer for DC-area band, Scream. He was a grunge icon, providing the beat to a generation as part of Nirvana. He’s also been the voice of rock and hope as the frontman of the Foo Fighters. Yet, one role that seems to bring the brightest smile to his face is that of father. Dave is the proud papa of three girls. He and his wife, Jordyn Blum (m. 2003) began their family in 2006, when they welcomed their first child, Violet Maye Grohl. Three years later, Jordyn gave birth to Harper Willow Grohl. In 2014, the family welcomed Ophelia Saint Grohl into the mix. Since then, all three girls have followed in their father’s footsteps. Violet has sung with Dave on stage, famously covering some Nirvana classics during a 2020 charity benefit. Harper has played the drums with her father in front of 20,000 fans in Iceland. And Ophelia has rocked out alongside Dave during an episode of ‘Ryan’s Secret Playdate.’
