Danica is best known as a former professional race car driver. She made a name for herself by becoming the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel racing. She was the first woman to win the Indy Japan 300 in 2008 and in 2021, she’s the only woman to win an IndyCarSeries race.

Before she made her way in the racing world, she was born in Beloit, Wisconsin and began karting when she was just 10. She even went on to win the World Karting Association Grand National Championship three times in the 1990s. After dropping out of high school in 1998, she moved to the UK to being her racing career.

She officially retired from racing after competing in the 2018 Daytona 500 and the 2018 Indianapolis 500.
