The ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor — As one of the most ‘notorious’ fighters to ever step into the Octagon, Conor McGregor has a massive mouth – and the skills to often back up his trash talk. As the former Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight and lightweight champion, Conor became a household name. He defeated José Aldo for the UFC Featherweight Championship via knockout 13 seconds at UFC 194, which currently remains the fastest victory in UFC title fight history. In 2016, he became the first UFC fighter to hold two titles in two weight divisions simultaneously. He’s the biggest pay-per-view draw in MMA history, having headlined five out of the six highest-selling UFC events in history. While his often-NSFW trash talk has gotten under the skin of many of his opponents, sometimes his mouth writes a check that his fists can’t cash. He suffered his first UFC loss in 2016, after Nate Diaz forced him to submit in the second round. In 2018, he was once against forced to submit after Khabib Nurmagomedov locked on a neck crank. Conor also famously lost a 2017 boxing match against Floyd Mayweather via TKO.
