Conchata Ferrell, born March 28, 1943, is an American actress. Conchata’s journey to fame began when she appeared in her first sketch comedy show while attending Marshall University in West Virginia. After earning her degree in history education, Conchata turned her sights on acting and has built an incredible filmography over her decades-long career.
Her best-known role was as Berta on the FOX sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men.’ She earned three Emmy nominations for her work for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She’s also appeared in films like ‘Erin Brokovich,’ ‘Edward Scissorhands,’ and TV shows like ‘Friends,’ and ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer,’ among many others.
