Cody Garrett Runnels is an American professional wrestler, promoter, businessman, and actor. His ring name is simply Cody Rhodes or Cody. He is also an executive vice president of All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Rhodes learned all he needed to know about being in the ring from his dad Dusty Rhodes (aka WWE Hall of Famer) and his half-brother Dustin Runnels (aka AEW wrestler). After much practice and years of experience, he eventually joined the professional ranks of the WWE in 2006, like his father and brother. He then went on to become a part of the WWE’s main roster in 2007, where he remained there for nine whole years.
While at his time wrestling for the WWE, he became a two-time Intercontinental Champion, in addition to already being a two-time Georgia state champion.
To date, the hot shot wrestling superstar has also won six tag team championships, which are three World Tag Team Championships and three WWE Tag Team Championships.
