Cheryl Burke, born May 3, 1984, is an American dancer and TV host. Cheryl rose to fame as a professional dancer on the reality competition series ‘Dancing With The Stars.’ Cheryl joined the show in its second season in 2006 at the age of 22 years old. Her partner was Drew Lachey of the band 98 Degrees. The two went on to win the competition during the finale and Cheryl saw a slew of success since!
Cheryl won a second time in season three with her partner, former NFL player, Emmitt Smith. From there, she’s gone as far as taking second with her celeb partners or being one of the very first to go. Cheryl is also quite business savvy, opening her own dance studio in 2008 and creating an activewear line the following year! She is married to Matthew Lawrence, whom she met through ‘DWTS’ contestant Joey Lawrence.
