Chelsea Handler, born Feb. 25, 1975, is an American comedian, TV host, and activist. After stints on TV comedies including The Bernie Mac Show, My Wife and Kids, and The Practice. Chelsea landed her own show on the E! Network in 2006. The series only lasted two seasons, but Chelsea then went on to perform standup with a number of specials. Her latest special was 2020’s Chelsea Handler: Evolution.
Following the 2016 election, Chelsea became a staunch activist and began educating herself and using her platform to address issues of white privilege, racism, and sexism. She’s a fervent supporter of the organization Planned Parenthood and often attends a number of their events. She is still writing and creating along with her activist endeavors.
