But if you’re looking to add some edge to your ensemble, opting for some distressed denim is a great way to go. Yes, you might need to deal with some Baby Boomers asking why you would buy pants with holes in them, but that’s just the price we pay for fashion. Seriously though, ripped jeans are versatile and look so cute – even some of your favorite celebs live in them despite being able to spend thousands of dollars on clothes. (That’s not something you need to do to pull this look off, though!)

One of our favorite celeb takes on this trend was worn by Kendall Jenner during a New York outing on Sept. 6, 2017. She looked gorgeous in ripped jeans with a cobalt blue top, a blazer and black booties.
