                                                                                                          2022 was a busy year for celebrity run-ins with law enforcement. Stars weren’t exactly on their best behavior. Some stars were accused of serious crimes while others were found a little worse for wear after a long night.

                                                                                                          One of the most talked about celebrity crime cases was Tory Lanez assault of Megan Thee Stallion. The Canadian rapper was arrested in Apr. 2022 in relation to a 2020 shooting. He was charged with ‘assault with a deadly weapon’ over a Nov. 2021 shooting incident. The musical artist was released on $550K bail.

                                                                                                          Irene Bedard, the voice actress behind Pocahauntus, was arrested in Aug. 2022 in Greene County, Ohio. She reportedly had to be separated from another woman by police after an argument escalated into a screaming match that lead the arrested “into the street screaming, without any regard for traffic,” per authorities. The cops said she had “a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath.”

The Tiger King star is accused of money laundering.                                                                                                           Joseph Gatt was arrested by LAPD on April 6, 2022. According to authorities, he was engaging in “online sexually explicit communication with a minor across state lines.” He was later relased on $5k bail.

                                                                                                          The actor addressed his arrest on Twitter on Apr. 13, 2022. Adamantly denying allegations, he said, “I obviously want to address the absolutely horrifying and complete untrue allegations recently leveled against me. They are 100 percent categorically wrong and reckless.

                                                                                                          “I have confirmed errors and misleading information in today’s press release. I am fully cooperating with police and LAPD to get to the bottom of this. I look forward to clearing my good name. Thank you to all of my friends and supporters who know that this is untrue and understand for legal reasons I cannot comment further on social media.”

                                                                                                          Mike Shouhed of Shahs of Sunset was arrested by LAPD March 27, 2022 on domestic violence charges, per Page Six. Cops say they took in the reality star after they were called to his home around 10pm and found “visible injuries” on an unnamed party. The Bravo personality was later released on $50k bail.

                                                                                                          Gary Busey, seen here in 2019, was charged with several sex crimes in Aug. 2022 after allegedly groping a woman at the Monster-Mania convention in Cherry Hill, PA. He is facing two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, one count of criminal attempt/criminal sexual contact and one count of harassment.

He failed a field sobriety test after he was seen ignoring a stop sign. Not long after his arrest, he was issued a citation and released.

                                                                                                          Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander is facing more time in jail after he was booked for an arrest warrant issued in 2016. Alexander faces two felony charges of grand theft and buying or receiving stolen property, both relating to an incident in 2015. He has spent the last two months in jail in Ventura, California, after trying to enter Britney’s home on the day of her wedding to Sam Asghari.

                                                                                                          He was transported direct from Ventura County Jail to Napa, where he was booked for allegedly stealing his landlady’s $2,000 diamond tennis bracelet and pawning it for $180 in 2015.

                                                                                                          Former NBA player Iman Shumpert was arrested at Dallas/Fort Worth airport on Saturday, July 30 2022 on charges of felony marijuana possession and a gun in his bag. According to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport report, officers responded to a potential drug violation call at approximately 3:40pm, after TSA Screeners had found a ‘sizeable amount of green leafy substance’ in Shumpert’s backpack. Shumpert expressed concern about missing his flight to Los Angeles to pick up his daughter, however, the report adds the 2016 NBA champ was placed in handcuffs and transported to the airport jail without incident.

                                                                                                          Actor Ezra Miller has been arrested multiple times in Hawaii in 2022. The star, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, is seen here in a mugshot from Mar. 2022, after they were arrested following an incident at a bar in Hilo, Hawaii. The ‘Flash’ star was booked on charges of disorderly conduct, harassment and obstructing a highway after they allegedly yelled when people started singing karaoke at The Margarita Village Bar. Ezra grabbed the microphone away from a woman and later lunged at a man playing darts. Both actions led to disorderly conduct and harassment offenses. Hawaii Police released Miller after posting a $500.00 bail.

                                                                                                          Ezra was picked up again in Apr. 2022, then arrested for second-degree assault at a private residence in Pāhoa, Hawaii. During that incident, “patrol officers responded to a report of an assault that occurred at a get-together in the Leilani Estates subdivision in lower Puna,”, per ‘Variety’.

                                                                                                          According to the Hawaii Police Department, Ezra allegedly became “irate” after they were asked to leave, leading them to allegedly throw a chair, who allegedly struck a 26-year-old woman on the forehead, resulting in an approximate half-inch cut. Despite the injury, the woman reportedly refused treatment on the scene.

                                                                                                          ‘Grease’ actor Eddie Deezen was arrested for allegedly trespassing at a nursing home in Apr. 2022. The 65-year-old star, known for playing Eugene in the 1978 film, was charged with fourth-degree burglary, two counts of trespassing and one count of disturbing the peace following the incident in Maryland earlier this month. Eddie was at a privately owned nursing facility and refused to leave the premises after being asked to when he made an unwanted entry into the building, according to Maryland State Police.

                                                                                                          The actor had previously shown up to the same nursing home earlier in the day at around 2pm and was told by a man to leave and not come back. The man called police when Deezen came back later that night. Police said in a statement: “According to a preliminary investigation, a female opened the door and Deezen pushed his way inside.  “She advised Deezen made unwanted entry into the residence and almost made it into one of the residence’s rooms before they were able to get him to exit the residence.” Additionally, “She advised Deezen then went outside but refused to leave the property, which is posted with a no trespassing sign.” There were also “several issues with Deezen leaving items at the residence and various types of notes with the items,” police added. He is was held at an Allegany County, Maryland, detention center, according to online records.

                                                                                                          Ex-US Women’s goalkeeper Hope Solo was arrested on Mar. 31, 2022 after allegedly driving while intoxicated with her two-year-old twin daughters in the car. The World Cup winner and two-time Olympic gold medalist was taken into custody in a Walmart parking lot in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and arrested for DWI, resisting arrest, and misdemeanor child abuse. Winston-Salem Police Department said in a statement: “Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department arrested Hope Amelia Stevens (Hope Solo) on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in the parking lot of a business located at 3475 Parkway Village Circle in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

                                                                                                          “Ms. Stevens is charged with Impaired Driving (DWI), Resisting Arrest and misdemeanor Child Abuse,’ the statement continued. ‘Ms. Stevens had her two children in the vehicle with her at the time of this offense. Ms. Stevens was processed and subsequently released from the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center.”

                                                                                                          Solo’s attorney Rich Nichols has also released a statement on her behalf, saying: “On the advice of counsel, Hope can’t speak about this situation, but she wants everyone to know that her kids are her life, that she was released immediately and is now at home with her family, that the story is more sympathetic than the initial charges suggest, and that she looks forward to her opportunity to defend these charges.” She would check into rehab for alcohol a month later.

                                                                                                          The arrest came amid trying times for Michael, whose son Hudson took his own life in Jan. of 2022. The ‘Kill Bill’ actor shared a statement with HollywoodLife on behalf of his family at the time, saying, “We are all incredibly overwhelmed with grief and sadness and shock as my son, whom I just spoke with a few days ago said he was happy. My last text from him was ‘I love you dad.’ I didn’t see any signs of depression. It’s so tragic and sad I’m just trying to make sense of everything and understand what happened.”

TMZ witnesses say they saw the ‘belligerent’ ‘Teen Mom’ star after someone assaulted the ground she was with. The situation escalated after she was asked to leave. A citizen’s arrest was made and Farrah was taken into custody not long after.

                                                                                                          The reality star had a different account of the evening, which she shared to social media. Farrah posted a video of her being restrained on a sidewalk on Instagram and wrote, “I post this as no woman or man should ever be battered, abused, conspired, ganged up on, set up, recorded, and video sold. I’ve had a very traumatizing year and I don’t deserve to be attacked, bruised, men on me, and battered.’ She added the restaurant “should fire their management, and security for all contributing to attacking 1 person out of 3 people” and thanked Hollywood PD.
