Tyler and Catelynn are middle school sweethearts who rose to fame when they appeared on ’16 & Pregnant’ in 2009. After welcoming their first daughter, Carly, in high school, they decided to give her up for adoption. Their struggle with the aftermath of that decision was documented on ‘Teen Mom,’ which premiered in Dec. 2009. Catelynn and Tyler were on ‘Teen Mom’ from 2009-2012, and came back when the series returned as ‘Teen Mom OG’ in 2015. They remain on the show to this day.

Catelynn and Tyler had their second baby, Novalee, on Jan. 1, 2015. Later that year, they got married. In 2018, Catelynn suffered a miscarriage, and entered treatment while dealing with suicidal thoughts. The pair had another daughter, Vaeda, in Feb. 2019. After Catelynn suffered another tragic miscarriage in 2020, she announced that she was pregnant with the pair’s fourth child in Feb. 2021, and the baby girl was born that August.
