Believe it or not, it’s been 14 years since ‘Camp Rock’ debuted on Disney Channel — and wait until you see how everyone’s change!

Demi Lovato & The Jonas Brothers In ‘Camp Rock’ — After High School Musical, but before The Descendants, there was one of the best DCOM movies of all-time — Camp Rock! The film catapulted Demi Lovato into Disney superstardom, while cementing the Jonas Brothers – Joe, Nick, & Kevin – into their rightful place as Disney Channel mainstays. Following the romance between an aspiring writer and a mega superstar at the same summer camp, the film also featured Meaghan Martin, Maria Canals-Barrera, Daniel Fathers, and Alyson Stoner.

A lot has changed since June 20, 2008 when the film premiered on the Disney Channel and to this day, it’s the third highest viewed DCOM of all time, behind High School Musical 2 and Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie. For one thing, now all the JoBros are fathers! For another, Demi is putting out their 8th studio album! The kids have all certainly grown, so let’s check in with them in these then and now photos.

Demi Lovato as Mitchie Torres

Demi Lovato as Mitchie Torres — Here’s the star of our show! As Mitchie Torres, Demi portrayed an aspiring singer/songwriter, desperate to find a way to make her mark by attending Camp Rock. In real life, Demi has done that and much, much more. In 2022, they announced the released of their 8th studio album,Holy Fvck. which drops in the summer of 2022. While Camp Rock jumpstarted their careet, Demi went on to star in more challenging roles, with guest spots on Grey’s Anatomy, Glee, and Will & Grace.

Joe Jonas as Shane Gray

Joe Jonas as Shane Gray — If you weren’t in love with Shane Gray, then you weren’t a teen in the 2000’s! While Joe Jonas character in Camp Rock started off as spoiler and arrogant, meeing Demi’s Mitchie changes things around for the better. While a romance bloomed both on and off screeen for Joe and Demi, the two have long since parted ways, but remain friends to this day. Demi even congratulated her ex on all the exciting milestones in his life since then: from his massive success with the Jonas Brothers, to going solo with the band DNCE — to becoming a father and husband with Sophie Turner! Times, they do change fast!

Nick Jonas as Nate Gray

Nick Jonas as Nate Gray — Just like in real life, Nick played Joe’s younger brother Nate in the Camp Rock movie. They were even in a brother boy band, Connect 3! But the youngest JoBro only made brief cameos in the first film. It wasn’t until the sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, did his character get more screen time. But Nick hasn’t had any trouble getting screen time since then. When he’s not touring with his brothers with the band, he’s starring in movies like Jumanji, hosting ‘The Voice, and making lifelong plans with his wife, Priyanka Chopra. In fact, the two welcomed their first child together in 2022. So sweet!

Kevin Jonas as Jason Gray

Kevin Jonas as Jason Gray — Last, but never least, the oldest JoBro also made appearances in both Camp Rock films. Again, he played Joe’s older brother Jason, dutifully playing the guitar at his kid brother’s side. In real life, he does the same thing as the Jonas Brothers have been back on tour together – that is when he isn’t home with his wife Danielle and their two daughters, Valentina and Alena.

Meaghan Martin as Tess Tyler

Meaghan Martin as Tess Tyler — Meaghan Martin played the diva of Camp Rock – the film’s Sharpay, if you will – causing mayhem for Demi’s character at every turn. Following Camp Rock, she starred in Mean Girls 2 and is set to be in 10 Dates, a sequel to the movie 5 Dates.

Alyson Stoner as Caitlyn Gellar

Alyson Stoner as Caitlyn Gellar — Alyson Stoner played Caitlyn Gellar in Camp Rock & since her role in the movie, she starred in the Step Up franchise where she was able to showcase her fabulous dancing skills. The actress has admitted that she checked herself into rehab after auditioning for the role of Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games movie.

Jasmine Richards as Peggy Warburton — Jasmine Richards starred as Peggy Warburton in Camp Rock but now she is a mother, a digital creator & a blogger. She is happily married to her husband, Mike Caci & the couple share a son together.
