For over a decade, it seemed as if ‘Brangelina’ would be a Hollywood romance that had a happy ending. Though Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s romance started under particular circumstances – with them falling in love on the set of 2005’s ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ while he was still married with Jennifer Aniston – their loved seemed legit.

Over the following twelve years, Brad and Angie would grow their family by adopting Zahara in 2006 and Pax in 2007. She gave birth to Shiloh in 2006 and twins Vivienne and Knox in 2008. Brad Pitt would also adopt Angelina’s first adopted child, son Maddox, in early 2006. After all this, Brad and Angie decided to take the plunge and get married. The couple was married in August 2014 at their estate in France.

Unfortunately, this love story would not have a happy ending. The couple separated in September 2016, with Jolie citing irreconcilable differences. She also requested physical custody of their children. In the following years since their breakup, Brad and Angie would have a war of words in the courts, nearly wiping away twelve years of happy memories. As these two learn to live without each other, view some of the happier moments of their romance.
